How to draw a vase with snakes and circles + basket ball

Vase of snakes and rings (with basket ball)

The first you must do is to search for a vase with plain color. On this case was a vase that was standing on a stairs landing of a age old house at Noya (La Coruña) that belonged to a grandmother with a lot of grandchidren. 

Then you buy a tin of cheap syntethic enamel in a Chinese shop. Do not stir. You can use the surperficial layers of painting. If you paint on a green vase whith red color you will obtain a bright vase with a green-red color blending. Once dryed, stir very well with a stick the content of the pot and paint agen a some rings over the main corp of the vase. This time it is going to have a perfect red color. Then decor with a gross curve line the ring below with well mixed blue paint. Draw some thin red lines  across the curve and draw finally the eyes of the snake an with two strikes a bifida tongue. 

Draw the other motives like in the image. Finally do a photo and place a ball over the vase mouth using Smooth Draw and Adobe Image Ready programs of editing. There you have the picture below.
