We have grate teams in Vigo lately. The VGO BASKET and the 6 DO NADAL (sixth of Christmas) and also good teams in third division like CB Puerto Vigo with a very aggressive team, The Rias Baixas Verde, with tall players and and a good passer point guard. The most vintage team in Vigo is the CB Rodaballo (turbot) where my father played when it still was called the Estudiantes (students).
The Vigo Basket players that continue in the club this year have quite improved respect last year. For example a young point guard have bettered both shooting and in speed. There have been new incorporations, like a strong man that players as a 4 or 5, and a great play maker that is very fast despite he is a little fleshy. He is well understood with another dark hair slim tall player (you can see them on the video bellow) who dunks with grate energy and shots very well too.
Another man who is very interesting is a blond slim tall guy who leads the VGO Basket. He plays as point guard and shooting guard although his shooting is not good yet. He must improved his shooting skills if he really want to be a star.
Tip: An alley-oop is an offensive play which involves one teammate lofting the ball up near the rim in anticipation of another teammate jumping up to catch and dunk it. Because this move requires both teammates to know what the other is thinking, the alley-oop is a rare and exciting play.
