Little ones could dominate NBA

Yes, you have read well. For example, Russel Westbrook with his 1.90m and 90Kg could play as a center. Think it thoroughly. He play as a point guard, but when he goes for rebounds he can catch then over centers. Is so great his aggressiveness. If the tendency follows, clumsy power-forwards or centers could disappear. In fact the super tallest centers that we saw on the courts in the 80's and beginning of 90's like an extremely thin Manute Ball, dragging legs Shawn Bradley or mammoth Mark Eaton has been substituted for more agile versions like Kripstas Porzingis (2.21m) or the well nurtured Spaniard Marc Gasol (2.16m.) It seems that there have been an evolution of centers.

Also there used to be a lot of tiny players like "speedy Gonzalez" Muggsy Bogues, jumpy Spud Webb and more recently the strong and ballistic Nate Robinson. There seem that there was a more colourful players at the time.

The following is a video about Muggsy Bogues, a guy with a well fed ass.

Nowadays Isaiah Thomas, the son of the homonymous point guard of 80's and 90's (really this is not true, it was speculation)  is revolutionising the league with his speedy entries to the basket and wonderful shooting, over all in fourth quarter of games.
Isaiah Thomas. 1.75m, 84Kg.
As you know, currently they play "small ball," that is to play without a center, or substitute the power forward for a small forward. This could derive in not using big people at all. If a new advancement on that direction were taken, the power forward playing as an center would be sustituted by a small forward, the small forward by an shooting guard, and could be three point guards. If the evolution continues, at the end it would be playing with only small people and a new era would begin. Very tall people would be deterred. More over, new rules for basketball could be then employed and the hoop lowered. Told this I like to see tall people playing basketball but also I would like that normal people could be employed on the game too.
