"Preparación física completa para el baloncesto". Crítica ("A complete physical preparation for basketball". Review)
This book is a good one if what you want is to prepare yourself as a professional basketball player. Has an introduction by Gregg Popovic, the head coach of San Antonio Spurs where this year play the magnificent basketball player Pau Gasol.

Second, speaks about war-up exercises and stretching. Then about resistance exercises, for example of the famous suicides or "line" like Pachi Reigosa (coach and president of Rias Baixas Verde) calls them. Also the book explains agility exercises.
How to enhance the strength of the body is another topic of the book. Explains a lot of exercise and the most important ones. I like for example the push press for improving the strength of shoulders. What I like most is the differentiation that makes between the upper body and the lower body. It is very good to train one day one part of the body and the following day the other half. In this way you can rest your upper body and work out the lower body, for example. This is optimum because you can rest and exercise at the same time, what is vital when doing weightlifting. I have used some of the exercise tables that the authors provide.
The book has a chapter about plyometric exercises, based overall in jumps.
Speed can be improved practicing exercises like the drummer running. Or the sprint with parachute. And agility with a stairs on the floor or with fences.
